I’m glad to be able to provide this years “Hello Summer!” edition. Compared to the “Hello Sundays!”-mixes this one turns out to be less downtempo’d and is characterized by the approach to set a happy mood. Nevertheless you’ll find a wide range of genres featured within the mix – starting with Boards Of Canada’s shoegazing “Dayvan Cowboy” and developing towards the Classixx remix of Phoenix’ pretty much outstanding “Lisztomania”. Later the mix serves the cosmic disco flavours of Lindström and Aeroplane before climaxing in a personal favourite of mine: “m83 – Run Into Flowers” in the classic Midnight Fuck Remix by Jackson.
